Veritas Education is currently working in partnership with well-regarded secondary schools in the Pontefract area to recruit passionate and skilled Design Technology Teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to join a supportive department and make a real impact on students' learning and development.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons across KS3 and KS4 in Design Technology (specialisms in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering are welcome).
- Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student progress and achievement.
- Contribute to the wider school community and participate in departmental activities.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Have experience teaching Design Technology in a UK secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and a commitment to high standards.
- Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about inspiring young minds.
