Veritas Education is currently recruiting flexible and enthusiastic Cover Teachers to work across secondary schools in York. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available, starting in October.
This is a great opportunity for qualified teachers, early career teachers (ECTs), or experienced cover supervisors looking to gain experience in a variety of school settings.
The Role:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3 & KS4)
- Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
- Provide feedback to teaching staff and support student progress
- Work on a flexible, day-to-day or longer-term basis
Requirements:
- QTS or relevant classroom experience
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
- A genuine interest in supporting young people's education
