Veritas Education is currently working with a well-regarded primary school in North Havering that is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term position, ideal for candidates with classroom experience and a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
About the Role:
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience and school needs
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to provide targeted academic or emotional support
- Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role within a school
- A patient, flexible and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- A genuine interest in education and child development
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA qualification) are beneficial but not essential
