The Role: We are looking for a passionate, professional Childcare Practitioner with a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification to join our dedicated team. You will work closely with children aged 0-5 years, supporting their development through play-based learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality, child-centered care and education
Planning and implementing stimulating activities that support children's learning and development across all prime and specific areas of the EYFS (Communication & Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social & Emotional Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts & Design)
Observing and assessing children's progress using recognized tools such as the Development Matters and Birth to 5 Matters frameworks
Supporting children's welfare, health, and safety in line with safeguarding and SEND requirements
Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic care and support
Contributing to continuous improvement and professional development opportunities within the nursery
What We're Looking For:
A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
Passionate about child development and delivering outstanding early years care
Knowledgeable in EYFS framework and Early Years best practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enthusiastic, proactive, and professional approach to childcare
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
