We are working with a highly supportive and forward-thinking Primary & Secondary SEMH school in Orpington (Bromley) who are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their outstanding team.

The Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll work closely with students across both Primary and Secondary phases who need additional emotional and behavioural support. You'll be a consistent, calm presence, helping students manage their behaviour, engage with learning, and build resilience.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups with behaviour and emotional regulation
Assisting in delivering tailored interventions to meet individual SEMH needs
Helping to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff to implement behaviour strategies
Building strong, trusting relationships with students and acting as a positive role model
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs
Resilience, patience and a calm, consistent approach
A genuine passion for inclusion and making a difference
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Desirable (but not essential):
Previous Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant or Youth Work experience
Team Teach or similar de-escalation training
Interest in progressing towards teacher training (QTS support available!)
