About the RoleWe are working in partnership with a secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a Head of Year for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join a supportive team and make a real impact on students' academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the pastoral care of a designated year group.
- Monitor attendance, behaviour, and academic progress.
- Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to support student welfare.
- Implement school policies and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Organise and oversee year group events and activities.
Requirements- Previous experience in a pastoral or leadership role within a secondary school setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service is essential.
