Early Years Teacher & Curriculum Lead - Islington Primary School
Location: Islington, North London Start Date: After October Half Term Trial Lessons: To take place as soon as possible Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with potential for permanent placement) Salary: M2 - M4 Inner London (£42,234 - £46,339)
A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Islington is seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Years Teacher & Curriculum Lead to join their team after the October half term.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner who is ready to take the next step in their career by combining classroom teaching with curriculum leadership in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The Role:
- Full class teaching responsibility within Nursery or Reception
- Lead the development and delivery of the EYFS curriculum across the phase
- Support, coach and guide EYFS colleagues to maintain high teaching standards
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support whole-school improvement in Early Years
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in EYFS teaching (Nursery and/or Reception)
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Framework and child development
- Previous experience in curriculum planning and leadership within EYFS
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to inclusive, high-quality education
Please note: this role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
