We're currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology graduates to join our partner schools as SEN Teaching Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting and build a strong foundation for a future career in education, clinical psychology, or child development.

Psychology Graduate Roles:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language)
  • Working one-to-one and in small groups under the guidance of the SENCO and classroom teacher
  • Helping implement individual learning plans (EHCPs)
  • Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
  • Promoting inclusion and a positive learning environment
  • Psychology Graduate Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology (or related field)
  • Genuine interest in child development, mental health, or education
  • Patient, empathetic, and proactive
  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)

    SEN Teaching Assistant

    Pay: £90-£115 per day

    We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at some schools in Hackney. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

    SEN Teaching Assistant Roles:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Help create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
  • Support students in developing social and communication skills.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents.
  • SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (either in school, care, or a similar setting).
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • An Enhanced DBS desirable but not essential.
