Cover Supervisor (Unqualified Teacher) - Woolwich Part-Time 2-5 Days per Week
Are you passionate about education and looking to gain hands-on classroom experience? A vibrant and welcoming Ofsted-rated Outstanding Primary School in Woolwich is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team, working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be delivering pre-prepared lesson materials to primary-aged pupils in the absence of their class teacher. While you won't be planning lessons, you'll play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring pupils stay engaged and on task.
This is a flexible, part-time opportunity - ideal for university students studying Education or related subjects, or anyone looking to gain valuable school-based experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering set lesson plans to KS1 and KS2 classes
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Providing support to pupils and ensuring they stay on task
- Working closely with teaching staff and the wider school team
About You:
- Friendly, warm, and able to fit into a bubbly school environment
- Confident and professional in managing primary-aged pupils
- Ideally studying or with an interest in education, child development, or related fields
- Reliable and adaptable with good communication skills
- Previous experience working with children (in any setting) is beneficial but not essential
