Position: Level 2 Teaching AssistantLocation: Blackburn with Darwen Primary SchoolStart Date: As soon as possibleWorking Hours: 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

About the Role:As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences for young learners. You will need to possess a deep understanding of how children learn best and be able to utilize creative methods to inspire learning opportunities. While this position is initially temporary, for the right candidate, there is potential for it to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Create a positive and nurturing learning environment conducive to children's growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress and implement interventions as needed.
  • Uphold the school's values and ethos at all times.
  • Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Passion for working with young children and supporting their educational journey.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for inspiring learning experiences.
