Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to children with complex additional needs?
We are recruiting for a specialist SEN school in the BD9 area of Bradford that is looking for a confident, caring and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team.
You will be supporting children with a range of complex additional needs, providing both learning and care support throughout the school day.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Helping children access learning and classroom activities
- Supporting pupils with complex SEN and additional care needs
- Providing personal care confidently and respectfully
- Supporting communication, independence and engagement
- Helping pupils regulate and manage their individual needs
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide consistent care and support
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN, complex needs or additional care needs
- Is confident providing personal care
- Is patient, caring, reliable and resilient
- Can build positive relationships with children who require a high level of support
- Is comfortable working within a specialist school environment
- Is looking for a full-time, long-term opportunity
