Complex Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN Schools) ???? Locations: Bradford & Kirklees ???? Full-time / Part-time opportunities available

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with experience supporting children with additional needs? We are currently recruiting Complex Needs Teaching Assistants to work across a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools in the Bradford and Kirklees areas.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs.

The Role

You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties
  • Physical disabilities
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
  • Assisting with personal care where required
  • Promoting independence, communication, and engagement
  • Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
  • Working closely with teaching staff and therapists to deliver individualised learning plans
  • Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (essential)
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach
  • Confidence supporting with personal care
  • Moving and handling training (highly desirable)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are advantageous but not essential
