Veritas Education is currently working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Wakefield to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role
- Deliver high-quality English lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
- Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high standards of behaviour and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in departmental development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding.
- A genuine passion for literature, language, and student development.
