Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in the classroom? We're working with a lovely primary school just outside Lancaster who are looking for a caring, committed Teaching Assistant to join their Year 6 team on a part-time basis.
???? What You'll Be Doing:
- Some 1:1 support required for a capable Year 6 pupil (EHCP pending).
- Assisting the wider class to keep learning on track and engaging.
- Supporting low level behaviour with a calm, consistent approach.
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school staff.
???? The Role:
- Part-time: 9am-12pm, Monday to Friday.
- Term-time only - perfect for work-life balance!
- Long-term opportunity with potential to extend.
???? We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience in Key Stage 2, especially with additional needs or behavioural support.
- Is patient, adaptable, and a real team player.
- Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Holds (or is happy to get) an enhanced DBS on the update service.
