Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next opportunity? Do you enjoy working with a variety of schools, staff, and pupils?
We are a leading education agency recruiting confident and enthusiastic HLTAs to support primary schools across Wakefield.
What we're looking for:
✅ Qualified HLTA (or equivalent experience) ✅ Confident delivering learning activities and covering classes when required ✅ Flexible and comfortable working across a range of different schools ✅ Passionate about supporting children's learning and development ✅ Reliable, adaptable, and professional
The role:
Supporting teaching and learning in KS1 and KS2
Leading small group work and interventions
Covering whole classes in the absence of the teacher
Building positive relationships with pupils and staff in each setting
