We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Accrington to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department and make a real impact on students' learning and development.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and prepare schemes of work that meet curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a safe and inspiring learning environment in the kitchen classroom
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in Food Technology or related subject
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (NQTs/ECTs welcome)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A genuine passion for food education and student success
