Position: Mathematics Teacher Start Date: September 2024 Location: Kirklees Secondary School
Are you passionate about shaping young minds and fostering a love for mathematics? My secondary school partner is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join their vibrant faculty in September 2024. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students, cultivate their mathematical skills, and prepare them for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Utilise various teaching strategies and resources to promote conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track their academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and innovative teaching approaches.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders to foster a positive school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics, with the ability to teach across key stages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Salary: M1 - M6 (in line with the national pay scale for teachers)
