Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized learning plans.
- Assist in creating and adapting teaching materials to meet the needs of individual students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Support students in developing social and life skills.
- Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement strategies for student progress.
- Collaborate with other staff members to promote a cohesive and supportive school community.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Working Hours:
Full-time position with standard school hours. Some flexibility may be required.
