Position Available: Teaching Assistant with Specialism in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Location: Pendle
Start Date: September 2024
Are you passionate about supporting the educational development of every child, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? I have two Primary schools in the Pendle area who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant with expertise in SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support and assistance to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met within the classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children with SEN, either in a school setting or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of TA2 or Health and Social Care preferred.
- Any additional certifications or training related to SEN would be advantageous.
