A 'Good' Primary school in Wakefield are seeking an experienced Reception Teacher to start in after Easter.

Role & School Information:
The ideal candidate will be able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that focus pupils on class work and engage them in school. You will need to have an excellent understanding of the Early Year curriculum and will be able to adapt this to varying ability levels in the class. The school works in quite a formal way and the teacher will be required to know how to teach read write inc & maths mastery.The school is looking for a Reception Teacher who can understand how young pupils develop, be able to plan provision to meet the needs of a range of learners, and work hard so every pupil reaches the best of their ability. This is a dynamic and welcoming community Primary school in Leeds with a dynamic Early Years Department which is supported by a team of experienced Teaching Assistant and fully qualified teachers. The school offers a welcoming and supportive team, eager to learn pupils who are well behaved for the most part and an excellent professional development package for teachers at all career stages.
The school and their SLT have very high standards and are wanting to move forward and reach 'Outstanding' in their next Ofsted. The Headteacher has clear expectations for his staff and actively works alongside the teachers to progress their knowledge and further pedagogy.
