Are you a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity? Veritas Education works closely with nurseries and primary schools across Southwest London, and are seeking early years professionals for a variety of roles. Whether you're seeking flexible supply work or a longer-term position, we offer access to a range of opportunities across London, starting as soon as possible.
As a Level 3 Nursery Practioner you will:
- Assist in the learning and development of children
- Set up play and learning in the room and tidy and clean when finished, ensuring a safe environment at all times.
- Act as a key person to groups of children and liaise accordingly with parents and guardians
- Be aware of any special needs and tailor learning and play accordingly
- Attend staff meetings and relevant courses
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as part of your role
Person specification:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child development
- Friendly, reliable, and proactive, with a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children and families
