Veritas Education is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Colne, Lancashire, to recruit an enthusiastic and committed EYFS Class Teacher to join their team.

As the EYFS Class Teacher, you will create a nurturing, stimulating and language-rich learning environment where children feel safe, valued and confident to explore. You will plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning opportunities that support children's communication, early literacy, numeracy, physical development and social skills.
Working alongside a dedicated team, you will help children build the foundations they need to thrive throughout their education.

- Has experience teaching within EYFS, particularly Reception
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and Development Matters
- Is passionate about early childhood development and learning through play
- Plans and delivers creative, engaging and purposeful learning opportunities
- Has a good understanding of early phonics and reading development
- Can adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND
- Sets high expectations within a nurturing and supportive environment
- Builds positive relationships with children, parents and carers
- Creates an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and supported
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive staff team
- Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children
