Are you a passionate and dedicated Intervention Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming, inclusive and supportive primary school?

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a friendly primary school in Nelson to recruit an enthusiastic Intervention Teacher to provide support across Key Stage 2, starting as soon as possible until December.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

As the Intervention Teacher, you will work with small groups of mixed-ability pupils across KS2 classes, delivering targeted support to address gaps in learning and build confidence. You will also provide one-to-one support where needed, monitor individual pupil progress and contribute to reports that help identify next steps and support continued development.

  • Has experience delivering interventions across KS2
  • Can provide effective small-group and one-to-one support
  • Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum and pupil progress
  • Can identify gaps in learning and adapt support to meet individual needs
  • Is confident monitoring progress and producing individual pupil reports
  • Builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
  • Creates an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Is organised, proactive and able to work independently
  • Is committed to helping every child achieve their potential
