Veritas Education are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Woking seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from November until Easter 2027, with the potential for the placement to be extended.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking to make a positive impact within a supportive school environment.
The Role
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress
- Support students in achieving their full academic potential
- Contribute to the wider life of the English department
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
- Ability to inspire and motivate young people
