Veritas Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Teesside. We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable individuals who can help students achieve their potential both inside and outside the classroom.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or have transferable experience working with young people, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 lessons
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs
- Delivering small group interventions to raise attainment and confidence
- Working alongside subject teachers to support learning and engagement
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping students remain focused in lessons
- Building positive relationships that encourage progress and personal development
- Supporting pupils during tutor time, breaktimes and structured activities where required
Ideal Backgrounds
