Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
Veritas Education is looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work across our partner primary schools in Leeds. We have opportunities supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, both within mainstream classrooms and dedicated SEND provisions.
You could be supporting pupils with:
- Autism / ASC
- ADHD
- Speech, language and communication needs
- SEMH
- Moderate learning difficulties
- Sensory and additional learning needs
The role
Depending on the school, you may be:
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support
- Helping pupils access classroom learning
- Supporting communication and emotional regulation
- Using visual timetables, sensory resources and structured routines
- Building children's confidence, independence and engagement
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
