Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Wigan. With the new academic year underway, we have regular opportunities available for individuals seeking flexible day-to-day and short-term supply work.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with the work provided and maintaining a positive learning environment.
The Role:
- Deliver pre-set work to students across a variety of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Support students in their learning and engagement
- Gain experience in a range of secondary school settings
- Flexible working patterns to suit your availability
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Have experience working with young people in education, coaching, youth work, mentoring, or similar roles
- Be confident managing groups of students
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
- Be adaptable, professional, and reliable
- Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
