Veritas Education are currently recruiting for a strong and reliable Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Rossendale area from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a consistent three-day-a-week position, with the potential to continue for the full academic year.
The Role
- Teaching a Year 2 class from Monday to Wednesday
- Potential opportunity to remain in the role for the full academic year
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils' academic and personal development
- Working closely with colleagues and the wider school team
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management

The school is looking for a teacher who is:
- Experienced and confident teaching Year 2
- Reliable and committed to the full duration of the placement
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Confident with behaviour management
- Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team
