Are you a passionate Year 4 Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming and supportive primary school?

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a friendly primary school in Nelson, Lancashire, to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you'll take responsibility for planning and delivering an exciting KS2 curriculum, while nurturing pupils' confidence, independence and love of learning.

We're looking for a teacher who:

  • Has experience teaching Year 4 or within Key Stage 2
  • Plans and delivers engaging, creative and purposeful lessons
  • Has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • Sets high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement
  • Can adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND
  • Builds positive and trusting relationships with pupils
  • Creates a calm, positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community
  • Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children
