Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Clitheroe, Ribble Valley to recruit an enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher for a full-time maternity cover from September 2026 to February 2027.

The successful teacher will deliver an engaging and ambitious Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum, while supporting pupils' academic, personal and emotional development. They will join a collaborative staff team that values teamwork, professional development and the wellbeing of both pupils and staff.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience teaching Year 5 or Upper Key Stage 2.
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and purposeful lessons.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement.
- Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Promote confidence, independence, respect and a love of learning.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.
