Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Kirklees. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students across Humanities subjects, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Religious Education.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Promote high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and academic success.
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
- Has a passion for their subject and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Can motivate and inspire young people to achieve their full potential.
- Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
