Are you looking for flexible work in education? We are working with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Bromley that are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support on a daily supply basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking for flexible, rewarding work.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise classes across a range of subjects using pre-set lesson plans.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support students with their learning where required.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable.
- Confident managing groups of young people.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Flexible, reliable, and professional.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
