Due to continued growth and expansion, Veritas Education are actively seeking Cover Supervisors and Secondary Supply Teachers to support a collective of secondary schools across Newcastle upon Tyne, for opportunities starting from September.
Whether you're an experienced educator, recent graduate, sports coach, youth worker or someone looking to build a career within education, we'd love to hear from you.
We are particularly keen to hear from:
- Graduates with experience working with children or young people
- Youth Workers and Learning Mentors
- Sports Coaches and Activity Leaders
- Aspiring Teachers considering teacher training
- Experienced Cover Supervisors
- Qualified Secondary Teachers across all subject areas
The Role:
- Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Support student engagement and behaviour management
- Gain experience across a range of secondary schools
- Flexible daily supply and longer-term positions available
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Confidence managing groups of students
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Positive, professional and reliable approach
