The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5.
- Inspire students to develop confidence and competence in mathematics.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities.
- Contribute to a positive learning environment that promotes high expectations and excellent behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practice.
- Participate fully in departmental and whole-school initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school setting.
- Possesses strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Has high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
- Is committed to delivering inclusive and engaging lessons that support all learners.
- Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
