School Mentor - Leeds
Veritas Education Leeds are currently looking to recruit multiple school and learning mentors for various positions we have open for the new academic year in September 2026. Veritas Education work alongside a variety of different schools, special needs settings and educational sites who are wanting to recruit motivated, caring and committed support staff to their staffing team.
Veritas Education are looking for anyone who has any of the below experience, as schools currently are open to speaking and meeting with applications with varying experience, not necessarily direct from schools!
Any who has…
- A Relevant degree (Education/Childcare/Psychology/Counselling/Teaching/Sports/Coaching)
- Previous child-minding experience (Private or Public)
- School based experience
- Volunteer experience from schools/coaching/youth clubs/charities
- Support Worker/Care or Residential background
- Personal experience supporting children and young adults with additional needs, this can include personal experience supporting children with additional/behavioural/emotional needs!
Veritas Education can help with the process of getting you registered, getting your documents together (like getting DBS certificates in process) and providing you with additional training too!
We offer competitive rates of pay (Always open to discussion), additional training courses, and both full time and Part Time/Daily work placements!
