Veritas Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire, for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their committed team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about Early Years education and understands the importance of creating positive first experiences of school. The successful candidate will inspire young learners through creative, play-based learning while building the strong foundations children need to thrive throughout their education.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position, initially for the Autumn Term, with the potential for extension. The school is seeking a teacher with recent EYFS experience who can create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to achieve their very best.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging, creative and inspiring learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
- Create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive classroom where every child can flourish.
- Promote children's development across all areas of learning through high-quality indoor and outdoor provision.
- Support early communication, language, phonics, literacy and mathematical development through exciting, play-based learning opportunities.
- Encourage children's confidence, independence and curiosity while maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with the wider EYFS team to plan, assess and deliver outstanding outcomes for all children.
