???? About the Role
A welcoming and inclusive school in Blackpool is seeking a committed and experienced High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA to take on a varied role, supporting teaching and learning across the school, leading small group interventions, and covering whole classes when required.
???? Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality learning activities across the primary curriculum
- Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the class teacher
- Plan and deliver targeted intervention groups to raise attainment
- Support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENCO
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
- Promote positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment
✅ Requirements
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working in a school setting
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Good understanding of the national curriculum
- Ability to lead lessons confidently and independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for supporting children's learning and development
⭐ Desirable
- Experience supporting SEN pupils
- Experience delivering intervention programmes
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
