Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Accrington to recruit a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher for an immediate start.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, running until at least the end of the summer term, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and creative lessons
- Inspire students through practical and theory-based learning
- Monitor and assess student progress in line with school expectations
- Contribute to the school's wider creative and performing arts provision
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Music in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for creativity and student engagement
- Ability to commit to a long-term placement
- ECTs are welcome to apply
