Teaching Assistants - Rossendale Valley
2 Roles Available | September Start
We're working with a primary school in the Rossendale Valley who are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants to join them in September.
The school has two vacancies:
- EYFS Teaching Assistant
- SEN Teaching Assistant
They're open to speaking with candidates who have experience in either area and are looking for people who can come in and support the day-to-day running of the classroom.
About the Roles
EYFS Teaching Assistant This role will involve working alongside the class teacher to support children in Early Years. You'll be helping with classroom activities, encouraging engagement and supporting children as they settle into school life.
SEN Teaching Assistant In this role, you'll be supporting pupils with additional needs, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. The focus will be on helping pupils access learning and supporting their development in a consistent and patient way.
The School Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children (school-based experience is ideal)
- Is reliable, calm and approachable
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Is willing to get involved and support where needed
- Has some understanding of EYFS or SEN (depending on the role)
These roles would suit someone who is practical, hands-on and enjoys working as part of a team.
