Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Nursery Practitioners to join welcoming nursery settings across Wakefield.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both qualified (Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years) and unqualified candidates with relevant childcare or nursery experience who are passionate about supporting young children's development.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll help create engaging learning experiences, support children's development, and provide a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Assisting with observations and learning journeys
- Creating a safe and stimulating environment
- Supporting daily nursery routines
- Following safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable
- Unqualified candidates with relevant nursery or childcare experience are encouraged to apply
- Understanding of the EYFS framework or willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Genuine passion for working with children
