SEN Science Teacher (QTS) - September Start
Location: Windsor Salary: From £38,000+ (dependent on experience) Contract: Permanent
Veritas Education are working with a well-supported SEN school in Windsor to recruit a qualified Science Teacher for a permanent role starting in September.
The role
You will be teaching Science to students with a range of special educational needs. The school is looking for someone who can adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and create a supportive, structured classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated Science lessons for KS3-KS4
- Adapt teaching to meet individual student needs
- Support pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
- Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP outcomes
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other professionals
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- KS3 -KS4 curriculum experience
- Experience working with SEN pupils
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A patient, flexible and committed approach
