About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a highly supportive and welcoming school in Blackpool. This role involves teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class, delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of a mixed-ability Year 3/4 class
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Promote strong behaviour management and pupil wellbeing
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally within mixed year groups
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Passion for teaching and commitment to pupil achievement
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
