Veritas Education are proud to be working exclusively with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Lancaster to recruit a Year 1 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team for at least one term, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
The Role
- Full-time Year 1 class teacher
- Start date: September 2026
- Duration: Minimum one term
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Support pupils through a key transition phase from EYFS into KS1
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1
- Strong classroom management skills
- A nurturing and adaptable teaching approach
- Commitment to supporting children's development and progress
