About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and making a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.
The role is suitable for teachers across the primary age range, with flexibility depending on experience and school needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents
- Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Maintain strong behaviour management in line with school policies
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
