Veritas Education are seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis across a range of secondary schools in Blackburn.
This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work in education, whether you are an aspiring teacher, recent graduate, or experienced school staff member.
✅ The Role:
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Deliver pre-set work and ensure students stay on task
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide a safe and productive learning environment
- Work across a variety of subjects and year groups (KS3 & KS4)
???? The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have strong communication and classroom management skills
- Be confident working with young people aged 11-16
- Be flexible, reliable, and adaptable to different school environments
- Have previous experience in a school or working with young people (desirable)
- Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check
