  • Key Responsibilities

    As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with SEN needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech & language needs, and moderate learning difficulties
  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to support academic progress and emotional wellbeing
  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCo, and pastoral staff
  • Help students remain engaged, focused, and confident in lessons
  • Adapt support strategies to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets
  • Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • About You

    We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant OR supporting young people with SEND
  • Have worked in a secondary school or similar setting (highly desirable)
  • Are confident supporting ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
  • Are patient, resilient, and adaptable
