Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with additional needs?
Veritas Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEN Maths Teacher to join a specialist setting in Richmond, supporting students with a range of complex learning needs.

The Role
You will be delivering Maths lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, Autism, and learning difficulties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering differentiated Maths lessons across KS3-KS4
- Supporting students working below age-related expectations
- Breaking down concepts to support functional maths and real-life application
- Managing behaviour using calm, consistent and trauma-informed approaches
- Tracking student progress and contributing to EHCP targets and reviews
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and wider support teams
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience teaching Maths within SEN, SEMH or alternative provision settings
- Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing, patient approach
- The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
- A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
- Confidence teaching functional skills and differentiated Maths
