Veritas Education is working in partnership with a secondary school in Blackburn to recruit a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher for an immediate start. This is a long-term position, suitable for experienced teachers or confident ECTs.
The Role:
- Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
- Planning engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
- Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety in practical lessons
- Contributing positively to the wider department and school community
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Food Technology in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to pupil achievement
- Able to start immediately and commit long term
