Nursery Practitioner Opportunities - Flexible Working in LeedsOrganisation: Veritas EducationLocation: Leeds
Looking for an early years role that works around your life, not against it? Veritas Education is working with a friendly, progressive nursery in Leeds to offer flexible Nursery Practitioner opportunities tailored to suit you. Whether you're after full-time hours, part-time work, or occasional shifts, this role can fit around your schedule.
This isn't just another job-it's a chance to build a role that complements your lifestyle, while still being part of a warm, supportive, and professional team.
The nursery provides a calm and caring setting where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and outdoor experiences. With a strong emphasis on wellbeing and nature-based learning, children benefit from fresh air, creativity, and hands-on activities that support their development in meaningful ways.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll help create a safe, engaging, and positive environment where children can grow and thrive. From supporting outdoor play to encouraging curiosity and imagination, no two days are the same-and every day is rewarding.
This opportunity is ideal for qualified practitioners as well as those with practical childcare experience who are looking for flexibility. It's also a great fit if you're returning to early years or want to stay involved without committing to fixed hours.
What we're looking for:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or relevant childcare experience
- A caring, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Confidence supporting outdoor and play-based learning
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
- A genuine interest in supporting children's growth and wellbeing
- Basic safeguarding awareness (or willingness to develop this)
What's on offer:
- Flexible working options - full-time, part-time, or ad hoc shifts
- A role designed around your availability
- Competitive pay rates
- A welcoming and supportive team environment
- The chance to work in a nursery that values wellbeing and outdoor learning
