Secondary Schools | Bradford Full-Time, Part-Time & Ad Hoc Supply
Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across the Bradford area and are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to support schools on a full-time or ad hoc basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor who is passionate about supporting students' learning and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensuring a positive and safe learning environment
- Supporting pupils to remain on task and engaged throughout lessons
- Working across a range of subjects and year groups within secondary schools
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor within secondary schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- Confidence working independently and adapting to different school settings
- A professional, reliable and flexible approach
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
